West Des Moines, IA — Telligen is excited to announce that it has been selected to partner with the Mississippi Division of Medicaid (DOM) to perform Utilization Management (UM) and Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) services throughout the state. The program successfully launched on January 16, 2024.
The comprehensive program provides UM and QIO services for the fee-for-service (FFS) population for medical, dental, behavioral health services, and level of care reviews. The scope includes reviews of adverse benefit determinations, as well as peer review services, clinical/medical consultations, quality improvement services and care management (CM) services.
Working in collaboration with DOM, Telligen went live with its proprietary population health management application, Qualitrac®, after a six-month design, development, and implementation (DDI) phase. Qualitrac was configured to support five CM programs and 35 review types for the Medicaid FFS population. The solution includes a secure provider portal, and our user-friendly workflow system. It also integrates with the state’s MMIS system, the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) system, and the local Health Information Exchange (HIE) to ensure the health and well-being of Medicaid members in Mississippi.
“We are excited to partner with Mississippi on helping to improve overall health and wellbeing in the state,” said Jeff Chungath, CEO of Telligen.
