Telligen is excited to announce that it has been selected to partner with the Wyoming Department of Health (WDH) to perform utilization management (UM) and health management services throughout the state. WDH has also licensed Telligen’s population health management software, Qualitrac®, for use of its health management and risk stratification modules.
Telligen is currently in the design, development, and implementation phase of the program, with everything set to go live on July 1, 2022.
The contract with WDH is comprised of three primary areas:
- Utilization Management – Ensuring that Wyoming Medicaid clients are accessing medically necessary, clinically appropriate services in the most appropriate setting.
- Operations Management – Supporting UM-related activities, such as initiating provider education and outreach, managing technology, and overseeing quality of care.
- Health Management – Providing clinical support staff to help members identify health goals, develop plans of care, and connect them with education and community resources to empower them to build self-management skills.
With the work in Wyoming, Telligen continues to expand its presence in the Mountain West region of the country, helping to transform lives as well as state and local economies by improving the health of at-risk populations. Telligen already has existing programs in Colorado, Idaho and Montana.
“We are looking forward to the opportunity to bring our proven population health management solutions to the state of Wyoming,” said Jeff Chungath, CEO of Telligen. “I’m certain that our partnership with the state will produce improved health outcomes for those who access Wyoming Medicaid.”
