Telligen is excited to announce that Chad Piper has been named the new Vice President of Health Plan Services.
Chad will lead all aspects of the HWB commercial business unit which includes self-insured plans, trusts, multi-employer health funds and health plan services clients. Chad’s responsibilities include strategic planning, account management, business growth, operations, financial management, product development, client satisfaction, and team management. He will report to Jeff Chungath, CEO, and will be based in Telligen’s West Des Moines office location.
Chad started his career on the provider side of health services where he worked in various leadership roles within Nursing Facilities, Home and Community-based services, Critical Access Hospitals, Home Care, and Hospice. Chad’s most recent experience includes executive roles in insurance and managed care leading organizations such as Healthy Blue Nebraska (Nebraska) and Highmark Health (West Virginia) and AmeriHealth Caritas (Pennsylvania). Chad most recently served as Market President at CareSource Iowa. Chad is a native of Iowa and received his MBA from Drake University. Chad is married with two adult daughters and has just celebrated the birth of his first granddaughter.
Piper will assume leadership oversight of Telligen’s Health and Wellbeing portfolio, including strategic planning, account management, operations, solution development and client satisfaction. Piper will be based in Telligen’s West Des Moines headquarters while leading teams in Telligen’s other office locations across the country.
