Telligen is excited to announce that it has been named a “Certified Healthy Business” by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. This recognition is part of the state’s Certified Healthy Oklahoma Program, which honors businesses in one of three areas: Basic, Merit, and Excellence. This marks the third consecutive year Telligen has secured the Merit level of certification, showcasing our commitment to enhancing the well-being of Oklahomans.
Established in 2003 through a collaborative effort involving the Oklahoma Turning Point Council, the Oklahoma Academy for State Goals, the Oklahoma State Chamber, and the Oklahoma State Department of Health, the Certified Healthy Oklahoma Program aims to recognize entities dedicated to improving the health of Oklahomans. Certified Healthy recipients demonstrate their commitment by implementing elements, policies, and programs that promote healthier lifestyles, encouraging individuals to eat better, engage in physical activity, and remain tobacco-free.
Since February 2008, Telligen has collaborated with the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA) in the development, implementation, and operation of the SoonerCare Health Management Program (HMP). This statewide initiative focuses on enhancing clinical outcomes and reducing the cost of care for Medicaid members who either have chronic diseases or are at high risk of developing them.
