Trusted partner for Federal and State agencies, health plans, and self-insured employers certifies its alliance with the industry leader in evidence-based guidance

WEST DES MOINES, IA – Telligen is excited to announce its newly certified partnership with MCG Health, part of the Hearst Health network, after completing the integration of Telligen’s QualitracTM utilization management (UM) and prior authorization (PA) solutions with MCG’s Cite CareWebQI and Cite AutoAuth.

Telligen, having worked with MCG for more than 10 years to provide evidence-based guidelines for UM and PA clients nationwide, was eager to take this next step of certification to expand its working relationship with MCG. The enhanced value offered by this partnership helps Telligen continue its constant innovation in the ways they help clients reduce provider burden and improve health outcomes for their members.

“Telligen understands the importance of integrating sound clinical criteria in the prior authorization process for providers to receive timely and accurate decisions,” said Brian Barry, vice president of enterprise solutions and CIO at Telligen. “Having our Qualitrac UM solution be an MCG-certified partner helps us achieve that need for our customers.”

MCG President and CEO, Jon Shreve, said, “Telligen has exhibited a strong commitment to evidence-based practices, and their partnership with MCG allows us to improve delivery of effective care together through new and innovative solutions.”

Telligen’s proprietary population health management application, Qualitrac, has integrated evidence-based guidelines throughout the care coordination process thanks to MCG’s Cite CareWebQI. In addition, to help eliminate delays in care due to wait times for authorization approval, MCG Cite AutoAuth helps streamline the prior auth workflow by automatically checking PA reviews against MCG care guidelines and rendering an authorization determination in real-time.

Qualitrac’s efficient, user-friendly process combined with evidence-based content and automation software maximizes provider engagement, proactively addresses issues, and identifies potential gaps related to approval processes or clinical documentation. The integration of both systems helps support higher provider satisfaction, greater transparency, and more consistent quality performance.
