The Fall issue of Health Level Seven International (HL7) News is out and features a deep-dive of one of our latest product developments. The feature, written by Srinivas Velamuri, enterprise architect at Telligen, highlights the challenge providers have with transmitting care plans using older methods like mail, fax or PDFs. Velamuri explains how Telligen has introduced a solution for electronic exchange of care plans through the utilization of HL7 FHIR bundles. By adopting this approach, care managers can fluidly exchange care plans in the standardized HL7 FHIR format, expediting the exchange of information while also enhancing the quality of patient care.
HL7 is a non-profit organization responsible for the development of interoperability standards such as FHIR. You can read the feature on Telligen’s project by downloading the article here (PDF) or by visiting the HL7 website.
