West Des Moines, IA — Telligen, a 100 percent employee-owned ESOP company, announces the appointment of Dirk Schroeder, ScD MPH to its board of directors.
Dr. Schroeder brings more than 30 years’ experience across the healthcare spectrum and is a nationally recognized expert in leveraging digital solutions to educate, engage and change health behaviors among multicultural populations. As a digital health entrepreneur, he co-founded HolaDoctor in 1999, which grew to become the largest digital health company serving Hispanic and multicultural populations. HolaDoctor was acquired in full by Pan-American Life Insurance Group in 2017.
Schroeder is the managing director of the Advancing Health Innovation in Africa (AHIA) program at Emory University, where he has been a professor of global health and business since 1993. He is the founder and principal of Updraft Health Innovation Advisors, a management consulting firm that provides guidance to entrepreneurs and companies worldwide.
